Ashby Villa in Tregony is placed perfectly at the entrance to the Roseland Peninusla in beautiful Cornwall.

So perfect for access to the peaceful, often deserted costal sandy bays and yet only 10 miles from the beautiful Cathedral city of Truro, with its bustling life (well bustling for Cornwall, but surely thats why you visit?) and great shopping streets.

Ashby Villa was formerly a vets, a thriving practice for many years, John and Lesley, your hosts bought the house recently and undertook a major renovation to restore the house to its original state and add charm and a warmth which we hope you will feel when you arrive, its a loved family home.

The vets kennels , now adapted to 4 rooms to let and aptly named 'the Dog house', are comfortable rooms, light and spacious, well furnished, cool in the summer and well heated in the winter.

All rooms are with en suite facilities, 1 double, 1 family, 1 studio with a sofa bed for a child and the old operating theatre is fully equipped for longer stays for a couple. TV  in all rooms, internet available in the conservatory.

All share a courtyard garden where there are many places to sit and relax, eat on the terrace, feel free to BBQ, but if a pub meal is required, then its 1 minutes walk along the road. Fish and chips also available at the weekends, plus many local excellent pubs and restaurants serving local very fresh food, really this part of the UK is a hidden treasure. an excellent weekend break, for couples looking to escape busy lives, walkers, cyclists, and dog lovers who want to roam along miles of sandy beaches stretching in front of them.

Rooms are open all year, we welcome everyone, adults and children. Breakfast is served in the conservatory, which remains unlocked all night. It is candlelit, for those wishing to escape a chilly night and enjoy a glass of wine together (sorry we are not licensed but please bring your own and use our fridge).  A continental breakfast served in the conservatory with freshly baked pastries and local breads, local jams and honey, cheese and cold meats, fresh fruit, homemade muslei, with fresh coffee and a full range of teas. you will be fed well for sure.

We are here to help you get the most from your stay with us, you can be completely alone or join us for a cream tea and as much advice as you need, we have a daughter, Lilly, she is happy to play with any little ones and share her toys.

Hospitality is OUR PLEASURE, you are never too much trouble.

Happy holidays, hopefully in part or full, with us.
